目元の表情はアイシャドウを使用し、ベーシックな表情を作り上げる。基本的なセオリーでは目尻側から目の際に濃色を、アイホール全体を眉に向かって次第に色が薄くなる様、綺麗な階調目指して作業を遂行する。更に、アイラインで目力（Eyes power）をつけまつ毛にマスカラを付けることにより、更にそれを強調させる。
